Munster Christmas market

I went to Munster Christmas market so a little about that. We went there at the same time as Cologne but the parkings were not so big so we had to wait a bit. It might be better to go early.

この間ミュンスターという場所のクリスマスマーケットに行ってきたのでそのお話。

ケルンと同じく12時ぐらに着いたのだけど、ここの街は結構駐車場が混んでました。早めに行くのがいいかも。

It wasn't big as the one in Cologne but was nice.

こじんまりしてましたが、見るところはいくつかあって素敵だった。

Like always, start off with the Gluhwein.

当然飲みます。グリューワイン。

Interesting shaped chocolates.

面白い形のチョコレート。

Munster is a college town with large university. It had the westminster treaty after the 30 year war. I've only seen these historic events in books so it was quite exciting to know!

ミュンスターは世界史で習った三十年戦争の終わりに結ばれたウェストミンスター条約が締結された場所。調べてあー！習った！ここか！という不思議な気分になりました。今は学生街になっていて学生が多く住んでいます。

We ate the erwtensoep with sausage in them. It soup with beans in it.

エルテンスープも飲みました。まめのスープ。

The cathedral was beautiful.

教会も大きくて厳格でした。

I love how they put small decorations on the side of their stores.

こういうさりげない飾りが素敵。

The blue market houses were really cute. It was like they had snow on top.

ここのマーケットは青い色のお家が並んでいてフォトジェニック。

This crepe with nutella was amazing!! Its simple taste but I love these.

ヌテラ入りクレープ。ヌテラはマカデミアナッツのチョコレーっとスプレッド。シンプルだけど美味しい。

We went inside the cathedral.

教会の中が見れました。

The stained glass was huge! The other windows didn't have it so it made it even more stand out.

ステンドグラスがとっても大きかった。ほかの教会だとほかの窓にもステンドグラスがあることが多いですが、ここはこの真ん中だけですごく目立って綺麗だった。

This guy was singing and ringing bells that he put on his foot. I wonder if that hat isn't heavy for him...lol

謎の歌を歌って足につけた鈴を鳴らすお兄さん。めっちゃ陽気だった。にしても頭重そう。

There was even a santa riding a motorcycle :)
