Seville Cathedral

Next to the Alcazar there is the cathedral of Seville.

アルカサルの隣にはセビリアの大聖堂が。

When going inside, there was a huge wall with saint statues all carved in 3D. It was shining all in gold.

中には聖母や使徒をかたどった3Dの銅像が壁一面に飾られていて金ピカになっていました。

Inside of the cathedral was really big so you can walk around and see different architecture.

教会の中はすごく大きくていろんな建築物が中に作られていました。普通の大聖堂とは少し違った雰囲気。

For lunch, we went to a restaurant near by the cathedral. First, beer!

ランチには教会の近くのレストランへ。まずはビール！

We ordered iberico croquettes and gaspacchio. Both were really good.

オーダーしたのはイベリコクロケットとガスパッチョ。両方味は美味しかった！

And the main course, paella. In this part of the region, its common to use rabbit meat and not seafood as you expect to see in paella in the US. You can order the seafood version but we decided to try this one. The rabbit meat was light and matched with the rosemary!

メインはパエリア。この地域は内陸なので魚介よりもうさぎの肉を使ったパエリアが王道。日本とかで知られる魚介パエリアではないみたいね。もちろん魚介もありましたがこっちをチャレンジ。さっぱりしてて美味しかった！

After lunch we walked through the old city and the buildings were colorful and eye catching.

食事が終わったら町歩き。ぶらぶら歩いていて少し暑かったけど見上げると可愛い建物がいっぱいあるので飽きない。
